Why the firm exists
Moving between countries, or building a company in a new one, rarely involves just one legal system. A Polish founder opening a U.S. company also needs a visa. A U.S. citizen marrying a Polish citizen may need a green card for a spouse and want to confirm their own Polish citizenship. A foreign professional in Warsaw needs a residence permit, a work permit and, eventually, permanent residence.
Totu Legal was built so these clients can work with one practice that understands both sides. Its founder, Marcin Podskarbi, is licensed to practice law in California and admitted as an adwokat to the Warsaw Bar Association.
How we work
Every engagement starts with a free 15-minute case evaluation. If we can help, we confirm the route, the documents and the fee before any work begins. You complete a short online intake, and we prepare, file and follow up on your case, keeping you informed in English or Polish.
Recognition
The firm has received the Orły Prawa award in Poland in 2020 and 2021, including a Gold distinction in 2021.
