Temporary residence permit for economic activities:
Legal grounds – Act of 12 December 2013, on Foreigners – Article 142 of the Act – along with implementing acts.
To whom and for what period of time it may be granted?
For the foreigners engaged in economic activities in Poland in accordance with the provisions of the scope.
The permit should also be granted to foreigners whose purpose of staying in Poland is to serve as a member of the board of directors of a limited liability company or a joint stock company whose shares are owned or managed by the foreigner.
Limited partnership or limited liability partnership of general partners or agents.
In order to obtain permission, entities engaged in economic activities should generate specific income or create workplaces, or have appropriate means or carry out activities that can meet future conditions.
If the circumstances that form the basis of the permit application prove that the foreigner has stayed in the Republic of Poland for more than 3 months, the above permit shall be approved.
In order to achieve the purpose of residence of foreigners in Poland, a temporary residence permit must be granted for a period of more than 3 months to 3 years, and it is possible to apply for a subsequent permit.
